Event Returns with Enhanced Innovation Focus

World Health Expo Miami (WHX Miami) will return to the Miami Beach Convention Center from June 17-19, 2026, marking a significant expansion of programming focused on healthcare innovation and international scaling. The event, presented by Informa Markets as part of the World Health Expo global network, positions itself as the largest healthcare exhibition in the Americas.

The 2026 edition coincides with Miami's role as a FIFA World Cup host city, creating what organizers describe as a unique intersection of global health, performance, and innovation. This timing has influenced the event's expanded focus on sports medicine, performance health, rehabilitation, and recovery technologies.

New Future X Platform Launches

The event will introduce Future X, a dedicated platform designed to address scaling health innovation through trade, regulation, and investment. The three-day program targets both emerging startups and established companies, bringing together entrepreneurs, manufacturers, investors, regulators, and government leaders.

Future X will be structured around three key themes: Scale, Innovate, and Invest. Programming includes leadership talks, live innovation showcases, and partner-led keynotes covering AI-driven healthcare, robotics in clinical settings, women's health investment, and U.S. market entry strategies.

"Healthcare is operating in a more complex global environment than ever before, and that's exactly why platforms like WHX Miami matter," said Gil Alejo, Exhibition Director, World Health Expo Miami. "This is where the industry comes together to navigate change, build partnerships, and move ideas forward."

Xcelerate Competition Returns

WHX Miami will bring back its Xcelerate global startup competition, where emerging companies present breakthrough ideas to investors and industry leaders. Applications remain open through May 25, 2026. The 2025 edition was won by DermaSensor, led by Co-Founder and CEO Cody Simmons, which developed a handheld device using light-based technology and artificial intelligence for real-time skin lesion cancer assessment.

Strong 2025 Performance Metrics

The event's 2025 edition demonstrated significant industry engagement, attracting more than 13,000 professional visits and over 1,200 exhibitors. Participation spanned 121 countries, including 36 exhibiting countries and 13 country pavilions. The event generated an estimated $556 million in total business activity.

Expanded Aesthetics and Wellness Focus

The 2026 event will deepen its coverage of aesthetics, beauty, and wellness sectors, reflecting South Florida's position as a major hub for medical aesthetics and non-invasive treatments. The expanded presence will include med spas, wellness clinics, and aesthetic technology providers.

WHX Miami will continue its Charity Zone featuring Season of Hope: Supporting Mothers, Changing Lives, and Image Assist, organizations focused on maternal health and diagnostic imaging access respectively. Registration for the free-to-attend event is now open.
