Solar Installation Targets Environmental and Financial Goals
Storylink Creative, a trade show and experiential marketing company, has activated a 153-kilowatt rooftop solar array at its headquarters on Earth Day. The installation comprises 289 solar modules and is projected to generate an average of 214 megawatt-hours of electricity annually.
The system's energy production capacity equals the typical consumption of more than 20 homes per year. Environmental benefits include reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 150 tons annually, equivalent to removing approximately 25 gasoline-powered vehicles from the road each year or planting more than 18,000 trees.
Financial Impact and Operational Benefits
Beyond environmental considerations, the solar array is expected to deliver significant financial returns. Storylink Creative anticipates saving more than $1 million in electricity costs over the system's lifetime while also increasing the overall value of its facility.
The installation provides a source of renewable energy that is not subject to fluctuations in utility pricing, supporting the company's long-term operational resilience.
Company Leadership Perspective
"For us, this investment goes beyond infrastructure. It's about responsibility," said Candy Kirchner, President of Storylink. "As a company that builds immersive brand experiences, we recognize the importance of minimizing our environmental footprint while maximizing the value we deliver to clients. This solar installation allows us to do both."

The company specializes in creating brand narratives through custom exhibits, in-person experiences, multivenue events, videos, and digital sales tools.
