Extensive International Program
Messe München has unveiled its 2025 international trade fair program, featuring 48 events scheduled outside Germany. The Munich-based organizer will concentrate heavily on China and India during the first half of the year, with events including ISPO Beijing, productronica China, electronica China, and IFAT Delhi.
IFAT Network Expansion
The IFAT network will maintain strong international representation in 2025 with eight events focused on environmental technology and the circular economy. This forms part of Messe München's strategy to promote sustainability-focused exhibitions across multiple markets.
China and India Market Focus
China continues as a priority market for Messe München, with the company operating 23 events across seven locations in the country. India represents another major growth area, hosting 18 trade fairs across five cities. The organizer noted that 2023 events in both countries performed well above plan and far exceeded expectations.
Singapore Market Entry
Singapore marks a new addition to Messe München's international portfolio, serving as what the company describes as the gateway to Southeast Asia. The organizer will launch transport logistic and air cargo Southeast Asia in 2023, positioning this as the first multimodal logistics trade fair in Singapore.
Global Infrastructure
Messe München operates with approximately 1,000 employees worldwide and maintains a network of affiliated companies and foreign representatives active in more than 130 countries. The company's portfolio encompasses around 90 trade fairs covering capital and consumer goods as well as new technologies addressing current societal issues.
Dual Strategy Approach
The organizer follows what it terms a successful dual strategy, expanding its portfolio around established leading trade shows while offering event and industry expertise globally. This approach provides exhibitors with platforms to enter distant markets while maintaining quality standards and access to industry leaders in single locations.
