Record-Breaking Build Completed at NEC Birmingham
Exhibit 3Sixty has successfully completed the construction of Digital Health Rewired 2026 in a single day at NEC Birmingham on 24-25 March, marking the company's third consecutive year as official contractor for the event. The exhibition, organised by Digital Health, part of CloserStill Media, serves as a primary gathering for the UK's digital health community, including NHS leaders, public-sector officials, and health-tech suppliers.
Scale and Complexity of the Project
Following a record-breaking 2025 event, this year's Digital Health Rewired featured 10 content stages and over 300 speakers, requiring substantial logistical coordination. The project demanded the installation and removal of 4,630 square metres of carpet and the erection of 1,030 square metres of shell scheme. The team delivered 94 shell scheme stands and 6 bespoke space-only stands, alongside more than 80 furniture packages.
Technical requirements proved equally demanding, involving the installation of over 70 electrical mains, 400 sockets, and 94 electrical packages. The visual identity was supported by 57 individual shell scheme graphics interiors, totalling over 800 square metres of printed material.
Single-Day Construction Challenge
The entire exhibition was constructed within one day, requiring coordination from a site team of over 70 personnel. Equipment and materials were transported to the NEC via three dedicated trailers, with the team maintaining efficiency without compromising quality standards.
"I can't say a big enough thank you once again for the superb delivery of Rewired. A huge task with a tough build schedule, done with the utmost quality and professionalism," said Neil Hadland, Head of Events, Digital Health – CloserStill Media.
Key feature areas, including the Podcast Cafe, met the high expectations of organisers and corporate sponsors, with Hadland noting that "The VIP Sponsor was really pleased, and the look and feel of the shell was as good as ever."
Partnership Continues
Andy Pearce, director of Exhibit 3Sixty, highlighted the team's capability in handling complex builds within tight timeframes. "The successful delivery of Digital Health Rewired 2026 highlights the team's ability to handle complex, high-pressure builds within extremely tight windows," Pearce commented. He emphasised that despite the one-day build schedule presenting significant logistical challenges, the focus remained on providing consistent service levels expected by CloserStill Media.
