ALUMINIUM CHINA 2026 will showcase 517 exhibitors across the complete aluminium industry value chain when it returns to Shanghai New International Expo Centre from July 8-10, 2026.

The three-day event positions itself as Asia's primary sourcing platform for raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished aluminium applications. China's dominance in global aluminium production—accounting for 57% of worldwide output in 2024—makes Shanghai the strategic hub for international buyers seeking direct access to manufacturers and suppliers.

Supply Chain Coverage Spans Six Sectors

The show targets multiple industry verticals including metalworking, mould and die manufacturing, machine tools, waste management and recycling, subcontracting services, and supplier partnerships. This breadth reflects the aluminium sector's integration across automotive, construction, packaging, and aerospace applications.

China's aluminium exports reached 5.4 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2024, up 21.6% year-over-year, according to customs data. The growth trajectory supports increased international participation in Shanghai-based sourcing events.

The facility's proximity to Pudong International Airport enables international participation, while Shanghai's port infrastructure supports on-site logistics demonstrations and sample shipping arrangements.

China's aluminium consumption is projected to reach 42 million tonnes by 2026, driven by infrastructure investment and electric vehicle production. The domestic market growth creates opportunities for both international suppliers seeking Chinese partnerships and Chinese manufacturers targeting export markets.
